Projekt Sonic Iceland

Blogger Kai Müller ist inselsüchtig, ihn fasziniert Island mit seiner Landschaft, Kulturszene, seinen Bewohnern und ihren Eigenheiten. Auf seinem Blog Stylespion (übrigens einer der erfolgreichsten und reichweitenstärksten deutschsprachigen Blogs) hat uns Kai Berichte über Schneetreiben im April, über Schnurrbart-Wettbewerbe und über die wunderbare Musikszene Islands geliefert. Wir, seine Leser wollen mehr davon. Deswegen hat Kai zusammen mit Marcel Krüger das  Projekt Sonic Iceland gestartet. Kai Mueller, blogger and photographer from Cologne and Marcel Krueger, German expat living in Dublin, are travelling to Iceland.
Our aim is to create a portrait of Iceland and its music – and this not as the stereotype music journalists visiting Reykjavik for a long weekend. We are enthusiastic about music, and especially about the diversity of the Icelandic music.
We are going to meet the Icelandic people to see how they live, work, play and of course how they create their music – and how the country, its current situation and the incredible landscape is connected to all of this.
